Born and raised in Los Angeles, Terry graduated from University of Southern California with dean’s list honors in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Marketing and Finance. He also attended UCLA and has a Personal Financial Planning (PFP) certification.
Terry has over twenty years of experience as a commercial banker helping privately held companies with annual revenues of $5MM-$100MM. Having been through several business cycles Terry has added value to many Los Angeles businesses through comprehensive analysis and utilization of financial engineering tools that help companies make better strategic business decisions. Terry has funded over $100MM in loans in his career and help optimize treasury management tools allowing for efficient use of capital. Terry is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
As a long-time resident of South Bay, Terry is a scuba diver, ocean swimmer and an advocate for preservation of Marine environments participating in local research on local kelp forest ecosystems. He is also a passionate global clean water advocate recently completing the Spring Aquatic Academy from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. For 12 years Terry was the Executive Director and Founder of One Tribe, a non-profit dedicated to serving children in transitional housing in Los Angeles. He also was an art therapist volunteer for Free Arts for Abused Kids for 4 years. Terry attended Redondo Union HS and El Camino College where he competed in Track and Field as a hurdler. As an adolescent, Terry was a competitive figure skater and currently teaches roller skating on the strand through his Flow Skate Club in Redondo Beach. Recently Terry completed a 200-hour Transformational curriculum that uniquely positions him to help others be the best version of themselves.
