BRDG LaunchPad Program
Viable Teams from the Innovation Challenge is given the opportunity to further develop their product and prepare for an investor pitch. Guided by an experienced entrepreneur, the team builds the core components required to launch and operate a company, including equity distribution, identifying target customers, and outlining the key steps needed to secure funding.
What began as a student team from the 2025 BRDG Innovation Challenge program, tackling an environmental sustainability problem, evolved into a real-world product; Sustain-A-Bin LLC’s Greenie Genie, with opportunities to showcase its innovation at major industry conferences, including TechCon SoCal 2026 and FMS2026.
Through the experience, students gained more than technical skills; they developed the confidence, teamwork, communication, business, and entrepreneurial skills needed to bring an idea from concept to market. Greenie Genie is a powerful example of how BRDG connects first-generation STEM students to industry professionals, real-world opportunities, and professional networks, helping turn student potential into meaningful career and innovation opportunities.
