Mark is a retired business litigation and transaction attorney with more than 35 years’ experience with large international law firms and managing his own law firm that provided legal representation for businesses in court and with commercial transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, government compliance, real estate, construction, international trade and developing business strategies.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in geology from Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Mark spent four years as a geo-chemist/exploration geologist evaluating properties for gold, silver, lead, zinc, and barite in North and Central America. He was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California.
Mark is an active volunteer serving civic and nonprofit organizations and local charities such as the YMCA, AYSO Soccer, Little League Baseball, Rotary International and has held leadership roles, including as the Irvine Rotary Club President during 2011-2012, the Rotary District 5320 Executive Secretary during 2014-2016 and 2021-2022 and heading up major charitable events for the Rotary District.
Mark fully supports BRDG providing its student participants with mentorships and training to help them foster long term professional win/win relationships – through BRDG, the student receives guidance helping them find a good job and the employer has a motivated employee ready to contribute on their very first day.
