Vanessa Schwartz, a California native and a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Computer Science, embarked on her professional journey in the healthcare industry
alongside a prominent IT management consulting firm. Climbing the ranks, she eventually
assumed the role of Director of IT Services at Cedars Sinai Health Center. Despite her success, Vanessa realized that the demanding hours were incompatible with the responsibilities of raising her young children. Motivated by a desire for a career that afforded her the flexibility to prioritize her family, Vanessa made a pivotal decision that would shape her future.

Transitioning into the world of finance, Vanessa made her mark as a loan processor in 2001,
swiftly ascending to the role of loan originator. She has always viewed homeownership as a
significant milestone and is deeply passionate about assisting her clients in maximizing their
investments for a prosperous future. Her approach to success is anchored in her genuine
concern for people, unwavering discipline, and a steadfast commitment to honoring her
promises.

Recognizing the diverse needs of each client, Vanessa consistently invests in her knowledge of the latest financial products. She takes great pride in offering her clients top-notch solutions,
ensuring timely loan closures, and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the
process.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Vanessa is an active volunteer in her local community
through The Rotary. She cherishes moments spent with her daughters, family, and friends, and
finds joy in staying active through exercise, traveling, and engaging in sports. Her
compassionate spirit extends to her rescue dogs, Max and Bear, who hold a special place in her heart.

Vanessa’s passion for BRDG program stems from her desire to give back to engineering
students who have faced challenges along their journey. She recognizes the profound impact
this program can have on the futures of these bright students and the generations that follow them.
