Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of BRDG! Find out more about the open roles below.
BRDG bridge to connect is a non-profit organization founded to serve college students pursuing STEM majors transitioning from college to the workforce.
Candidates are the first-in-their-families attempting to obtain a college education. BRDG provides chosen students training in corporate and life skills, assistance in gaining corporate internships, and stipends that enable them to focus on personal development.
BRDG seeks volunteers to provide professional advice, peer involvement, and training in a variety of areas. Consider volunteering, and we’ll work to accommodate your schedule so you can focus on sharing your expertise.
Ambassadors in Training
Our mentees seldom have family members with experience in the professional field. A mentor works one-on-one with a student in identifying their strengths and weaknesses. As a mentor, you will share insights and experiences with your mentee. This is an opportunity for you to make a positive influence on the future generation as you guide and prepare them to enter the business field.
An ambassador-in-training is a first-generation student who has applied to participate with BRDG. You will be assigned a mentor who will assist as you start your journey toward a career in the STEM field. This is an opportunity for you to gain invaluable advice and insight from people who already have a career in the field. You’ll find chances to participate in workshops designed to improve and expand your professional and leadership skills.
As a partner of BRDG, you will be making a positive impact in leveling the playing field for these first-in-family college students. Your involvement, whether it be financial or through other means, will greatly help the STEM community. In addition, your partnership can be a great opportunity to connect the STEM world to the eager, hardworking and well-rounded first generation students.
